Bear River First Nations

We visited the Bear River First Nations cultural centre after leaving the main part of town. The wigwam and painted fence near the entrance were interesting. The main entrance was shaped and painted like a big wigwam and the ceiling was like looking through a hole and watching an eagle. Inside, there were several displays and many information boards retelling their history.

Fall Walks 2022

Fall Walks 2022

During the month of October, I have been taking walks in different parts of Holyrood and taking pictures along the different routes. Today I am starting my 3rd album with photos from Tubrett's Road in North Arm. I'll continue to add photos to this album for a while.

Foxes

Foxes

A few months ago, I updated my Foxes Album on Facebook with photos of red foxes and arctic foxes. There are red foxes around here and I see their tracks in winter. A few have shown up on my trail cam in summer and winter.  The arctic foxes were photographed at the Salmonier Nature Park.

On October 1, I took several photos during my walk around Holyrood. Since then, I have been taking different routes and have started doing the same ones again to see how things have changed during the month.
