This is Day 6 of my Veterans Series.
All photos were taken on November 11, 2001 at the War Memorial in St.
John's.
As the ceremony continued, I walked
around making photos of as many of the people on parade as possible before they
played the last post then a moment of silence and remembrance. I wanted to
photograph the veterans during this part of the ceremony because, after many
years of observing the veterans, I knew that their eyes showed so much emotion.
Today's photos and those I will share tomorrow were taken at that
time.
