St. Jacques 2

St. Jacques 2

This is the last of the St. Jacques photos from August 7, 2008.

I have created a Facebook Album in which you can view all the photos from St. Jacques.  You can see that aquaculture is a big industry in this community.

Feel free to share with family and friends.

St. Jacques

St. Jacques

The next community in my virtual tour of the Connaigre Peninsula is St. Jacques.  Since I last visited in August 2008, the towns of Coomb's Cove, Wreck Cove, and St. Jacques may have amalgamated because some web sites combine the 3 as one community.  If anyone knows for sure, feel free to let me know.

As I drove through the community a couple of small, colourful boats caught my attention.

Feel free to share with family and friends.

Boats

I photographed the boats in today's photos in the town of St. Jacques on the Coast of Bays on the south coast. I liked name "Charlie's Pride" and the reflections in the water. These are small boats that may be just decorations. I assume they are NOT used outside the harbour, especially on a rough day.
I am travelling in Nova Scotia today and will continue to upload to my Photo of the Day Blog when I have access to the Internet.
I have other boat photos on line at: http://lanephotography.com/boats/boats.htm
