The oil tanks from the old Golden Eagle Refinery have been removed and I have put together a series of photos of the tanks from 1982 to 2024. I will post the photos to the album Oil Tanks over the next week or so. I plan to post them in the order from oldest to current. When I first moved to Holyrood in 1982, the oil refinery was still in operation, but it closed soon after I moved here and has been used as a storage facility for nearly 40 years. Now, the tanks are gone forever and I wonder what the waterfront property will be used for.
