Black-capped chickadees are here all year long and continually visit my bird feeders. They are cute little birds and are among my favourite! Colliers is a small community in Conception Bay Centre and I have visited it often over the years. If you view all three albums, you will see photos of a few of the same houses over time. Several are gone forever.

Honeybees

Honeybees

I haven't seen any honeybees around my yard for a week now. I assume it is because there are so many dandelions around, they don't need to travel so far to collect nectar and pollen.

Chipmunks

Chipmunks

We have had lots of chipmunks around our property for many years. A few days ago, I sat in my yard near a pile of sunflower seeds and waited for chipmunks to show up. I was not disappointed! At least three of these cute little rodents came to get seeds and I was lucky to be no more than 6 feet (2 m) away from them.

Tulips

Our tulips started to show leaves at the end of April this year, but the first flowers are just blooming near the end of the month.
