Goundhog (Woodchuck)

Groundhogs are not native to the island of Newfoundland, but they are in Labrador.  Today I am sharing photos of groundhogs taken in the Salmonier Nature Park in Newfoundland and Labrador and Shubenacadie Wildlife Park in Nova Scotia.  While I am not a big fan of zoos, they do give me an opportunity to view and photograph animals that I would never see in the wild.
