Honey Bees

Honey Bees

A couple of weeks ago I shared photos of sunflowers.  While photographing those flowers, I noticed many honeybees feeding on them.  For the next couple of days I plan to share images of honeybees as they feed on  sunflowers.

Interestingly, I spoke to a person who worked at the farm and was informed that the bees preferred the sunflowers over other plants that were growing and they weren’t pollinating the fruits and vegetables and this was causing a problem for the farmer.

Here in Holyrood I have never photographed honeybees, just bumble bees.  Does anyone know of a beekeeper close to Holyrood?
