Inside Hawke Hills

Today, I started my second album featuring photos taken during my hikes to the Inside Hawke Hills in Holyrood. I have hiked to these hills many times over the years and often with a camera in my backpack!  This is the second album and I have added links to this and the previous one below:

Seascapes

Whenever I am near the ocean, I tend to shoot photos of seascapes. And, living on the 16th largest island on the planet, I have lots of opportunities to be near the ocean! Today I am starting my 13th album featuring photos taken around the sea.

Weird Clouds

In April 2010, during one of my hikes to the Inside Hawke Hills behind my house in Holyrood, I noticed that the clouds were different than any I had seen before. I decided to take photos to capture the shapes and textures. North Arm River From the Air

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to practice with my drone and chose to photograph the North Arm River in Holyrood. I did it in sections and shared the photos in an album on my Holyrood Page. I have posted 111 photos so far and only have a few left so I thought I'd let you know that it is nearly finished. 

I have enjoyed seeing the river from different viewpoints and have seen parts of the river that I hadn't seen from the ground. There are three rivers in Holyrood and I may photograph them from the air as well.

Clouds - Sunsets and Sunrises

I recently created a new Clouds album, my 15th. In this album, I am posting photos of clouds taken during sunrises and sunsets, the most peaceful and often beautiful times of the day. You can imagine how many photos I have taken over the years and it is my pleasure to share some of the beauty I have seen!

Venice - Bridges

I read that Venice has over 300 bridges in the city, and I believe it. As I walked the narrow streets, I photographed many of them. I also photographed them from the cruise ship as well as water taxis.
