If you have never taken the side road to St. Michaels and Bauline East from the Southern Shore Highway, I highly recommend it! The scenery is beautiful, and if you are in the mood, you can take a boat tour to the islands where you usually see whales and seabirds including puffins and bald eagles to name a few.
