Swallow-tailed Kite
The swallow-tailed kite is a beautiful bird and an amazing flyer! I have only seen them during my visits to Florida and they aren't very common there. I have watched them as they fly in huge circles looking for prey. I have even photographed them eating their prey as they fly overhead.
This particular bird flew directly overhead and looked directly at me as I took its photo. I think it heard the sound of the camera focusing and shooting!
