To be honest, I didn't see a lot of bumble bees around my property this summer. They were late coming (probably due to the cool wet days in Spring) and once they did arrive, there weren't very many. I didn't see any on my wild roses or multiflora roses in July. I have seen a few on my sunflowers, in fact, there have been 2 - 5 on one sunflower most of this week.
