Point la Haye

Point la Haye

Point la Haye is located in St. Mary's Bay along the Irish Loop. A short drive off the main road takes you to a point of land jutting out into the ocean. This is where most of the photos on my new site were taken.

In summer you may decide to sit a while on the long beach where you can see the town of Gaskiers in the background. If you head out to the light, you will find a rugged shoreline where waves are eroding layers of sedimentary rock. When the photos were taken in 2002, a lone crow stopped on an old fence post to find out what I was up to.

I updated my Point la Haye Gallery and you can view the 22 photos at: http://www.lanephotography.com/irish_loop/point_la_haye/point_la_haye.htm
