Dogberries in the Fall

Dogberries in the Fall

I have been updating my most recent Dogberries (Mountain Ash) Album with photos taken during the Fall. The leaves have all disappeared from my tree and the birds are still eating them. The fruit of the mountain ash is edible, but I don't know many people who eat them. I knew a guy who used to make dogberry wine and his recipe was delicious.

St. Anne's

St. Anne's Church is located in Conception Harbour and I photographed it in 2001. I decided to create this album with the photos I took at the time. It is a beautiful church and I hope my photos do it justice.

Mortier

Mortier

I've been to Fox Cove-Mortier twice and I am starting a NEW album with photos from the sunny day first. I also decided to upload the photos in the order they were taken as I walked around the harbour. I thought you might find it interesting - sort of like a little tour. :)

Sts. Peter and Paul Church in King's Cove, Bonavista Bay happened to be opened when I was there in August 2006 and I went inside to take photos of it. Quarry River

In August, I decided to photograph the three rivers that flow through Holyrood from the air. I am finished the North Arm River and will finish Maher's River soon. Today, I started uploading the photos I took of the third river. To be honest, I have never known its name and when I asked around, Quarry River was the name I received so I am going with it unless someone informs me of a different name.

I launched my drone from the bridge and took a few photos of the waterfalls before ascending to around 50 m (150 ft) and flew upriver taking photos along the way. I will share the rest of the photos over the next few days.
