Grates Cove

Grates Cove is a scenic little community on the NW tip of the Avalon Peninsula. I recommend it if you haven't explored the many communities around the Baccalieu Trail.

Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel

In May 2016, my wife and I had a pleasurable stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta. Of course, during my stay, I took many photos and will share them in an album on Facebook. This hotel is world-famous and many celebrities have stayed there. If you are curious about the hotel and its surroundings, I will share photos taken inside and outside the buildings. I will also include pictures taken while hiking in the area.

George Street United Church








George Street United Church

In 2006, while working on a project about religion in Newfoundland and Labrador, I visited the 150-year-old church on George Street in St. John's. The doors were unlocked so I went inside and took photos of the inside of the building. Unfortunately, this church like many others around the province was having financial problems and closed its doors in late October 2023.

Churches

Because I have lived on an island my entire life, I have seen many boats and photographed a lot of them. I have hundreds, if not thousands, of images taken over the 50+ years I have been involved in photography.
