Fisherman's Wharf 7

Fisherman's Wharf 7

Today's photos show some of the "yard art" around the house boats.  There was a lot and you have seen some already.  One person even had a mannequin sitting in a chair outside a home. I noticed a few "Private" signs.  II guess they had problems with visitors entering homes?

Fisherman's Wharf 6

Fisherman's Wharf 6

As I walked through the docks at Fisherman's Wharf, I made photos of windows, doors, art, odds and ends, as well as entire houses when I could fit them in. Once, I was saying that this was a great place for someone who likes shooting windows and doors when I noticed a man looking out one of the windows.  I asked him if I could take his picture and he agreed.  I wonder how many photos there are of him around the world?

Fisherman's Wharf 5

Fisherman's Wharf 5

Today I am continuing the Fisherman's Wharf Series with photos of one little house boat and some of the art she has around her home.  There are also photos of the owner, who we talked to for a while.  She was excited to hear we were from Newfoundland and Labrador because she had gone there in her younger days and helped sail a schooner, the Anna V Fagan, from Newfoundland to BC.

Fisherman's Wharf 4

Fisherman's Wharf 4

As I walked through the docks at Fisherman's Wharf, I made photos of windows, doors, art, odds and ends, as well as entire houses when I could fit them in.
I did photograph a few people and a couple of them struck up conversations. I guess they get used to people stopping and asking questions.
