L'Anse aux Meadows- Village

L'Anse aux Meadows- Village

There were several things in the replica of the Viking Village that changed during the six years between my two visits to L'Anse aux Meadows. This morning I chose photos of things that had changed: the doors to the main grass house had changed, the fence was different and the boat was taken apart. To be honest, I liked the boat that was together because it gave a good idea of what a small Viking boat may have looked like a thousand years ago. To see it lying on the ground in pieces didn't have the same photographic attraction for me either.

If you are interested you may find it interesting to view the differences in the village.
