Spirit of Harbour Grace








Spirit of Harbour Grace

I am in the process of updating my Harbour Grace Albums and created one dedicated to the Spirit of Harbour Grace, an old DC-3 that was donated to the town in 1993 to celebrate its aviation history. In 2003, I photographed it twice - on a cloudy day and on a sunny day. I tried to get similar shots easch time and I have included all the photos in my NEW Spirit of Harbour Grace album. Lilacs








Lilacs

I have 2 lilac trees that I planted when I first moved into my house 15 years ago and they bloom every year. I love the smell and the beautiful colours of these flowers. Unfortunately, they do not last very long. Rhododendrons









Rhododendrons

It's too bad that the rhododendrons don't last too long. This year, while it bloomed, it rained for a few  days and now the flowers are dropping off.  I did manage to get a few photos that I added to my Rhododendrons 3 Album. Varedero, Cuba











Varedero, Cuba

While vacationing in Sol Palmeras, we took a day trip to Varedero. We took a horse and buggy ride and I sat on the back to get good photos of the old cars as they approached us. The driver took us through the town and I took a few photos of the buildings which I will share in my NEW album over the next few days.

Clouds











Clouds

If you have been following my Facebook pages, you will know that I enjoy taking photos of clouds. During my recent trip to Cuba, I took photos of interesting cloud formations from the window seat at 35,000 ft. Some of the clouds were so high, they were higher than the jet.  The photos in this album were all taken with my Samsung S21 phone.

Sol Palmeras - Flowers and Plants

I photograph flowers and plants wherever I go, and Sol Palmeras was no different. I didn't go into any jungles, but found plenty to photograph right on the resort and along the beach!
