Glossy Ibis

Glossy Ibis

I think there was a sighting of a glossy ibis on the island of Newfoundland last year, but I am not certain!  As you can predict, I photographed the birds in these photos in Bonita Springs Florida.

I don't have Facebook or Google albums with different photos so I haven't given any links today.  I will probably create the albums using the same photos that I have on this blog.

Mottled Ducks

Mottled Ducks

I have only photographed mottled ducks in Florida.  I am not sure if any have been sighted in Newfoundland.  These ducks, like mot I have photographed, are a little skittish, but I stay still for a while, they tend to forget about me and go about their business.

Mourning Doves

Mourning Doves

Last year, friends in Florida had a dove's nest on her deck.  I stopped by a few times and photographed the adult and chicks.

If you are interested in viewing more photos of Doves, feel free to check my albums by clicking the links below.  You have to be a Facebook user to view those albums, but the Google albums should work for anyone:

Northern Mockingbirds

Northern Mockingbirds

Though northern mockingbirds have been sighted on the island of Newfoundland, I have only photographed them in Florida.  I am sharing a few here, but you can view more in my albums:
