Halloween Fire









Last night there were no "scary" kids visiting our house so we had a bonfire to celebrate Halloween. As the fire died down I tried to photograph the embers but it was too dark to make a good image without a tripod. I knew that I could create abstract photos by moving the camera just as I took each picture. The results were very interesting and I am sharing two with you today.

To capture the streaks, I knew that zooming in or out would cause streaks that seem to come towards the viewer. Moving the camera sideways or up and down produced interesting red streaks.
