Deadman's Cove

Deadman's Cove is a scenic area located in the Town of Harbour Breton on the South Coast of the island of Newfoundland. When I visited there in July, the clouds were disappearing after a cloudy day and the sun was very bright. It was getting late in the afternoon and I was shooting towards the sun.

This area has great trails and scenery and is worth a visit. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to walk around the area very much and will have to go there again some day!!

The island in the background is Brunette Island which was home to 24 bison that were brought there in 1964. The last bison died in the mid-nineties.
