Northern Wild Raisin
The northern wild raisin is a small tree that produces the fruit shown in today's photos. The pink berries will soon change to a deep blue (you can see a couple in the second photo). Though I have never tasted these berries, the literature states that they are edible. I will have to try them in a couple of weeks.

Hi Bruce! I have been finding this real interesting seeing all the berries that you have out there....some of which are not native to the prairies! It does open the eyes as to what is in other parts of our country!!! Thanks!!!!
