Communities 2

Communities 2

Ten years ago, my son Mark and I visited Battle Harbour, a small island off the coast of Labrador.  If you are interested in seeing what a small fishing village in Labrador was like many years ago, this is the place for you.  The abandoned community is being rebuilt and you can rent one of the houses, walk among houses that have not changed for many years, feel the peace and quiet of being away from the hustles and bustles of everyday life.

We stayed in this beautiful place for 24 hours and Nature cooperated by providing beautiful weather as well as a fantastic display of the aurora borealis.
