Dahlias
This morning I chose to share a few photos of dahlias that were taken on Wednesday. The images were made with my new 70-300 mm IS lens. The lighting was just about perfect for flower photography - bright and partly overcast - and I made photos of most plants and flowers in my yard. The gray background is my driveway.
All the dahlias I planted this spring grew - except in one spot. I guess a squirrel or chipmunk got the bulbs I planted there before they started to grow.
