Sherbrooke Village 14

Sherbrooke Village 14

Today I am sharing photos of the Doctor's House in Sherbrooke Village.  It is obvious that the doctor was fairly well off.  His house is big and well-furnished and there is a doctor's office on the main floor.

I can't imagine being a patient in those days.  Surgeries were done on kitchen tables in patients' homes.  The white chair with attached bow looked sort of creepy in the office, though it was probably the norm in the 19th century.

Feel free to share with family and friends.
