The three images this morning were made in Brigus, Conception Bay in June, 2004. I have photographed the house many times over the past 25 years and have recorded it's gradual transition from home to return to Nature. I'll have to go back there on my next trip to Brigus.
The first image gives me mixed feelings: sadness to see the house just rotting away, taking all its memories with it, and hope because the green plants growing in the background show that nature will continue long after the house has disappeared.
