Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly

Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly

This morning I am sharing photos of a tiger swallowtail butterfly that was feeding on the lemon thyme in my garden. These are beautiful creatures that spend time here in the early summer.  After the lilacs, thyme and phlox have stopped blooming, they seem to disappear.

You can view more photos of these butterflies here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10159218694325329&type=3

Feel free to share!
