Oasis of the Seas

Oasis of the Seas

For the next few days, I will share some of the photos I took while on board the ship.  Those of you who have been on the Oasis, or any other cruise ship, already know what a cruise ship is like. However, for those people who haven’t been on a large ship, the sheer size of it may impress you.

According to Royal Caribbean, the Oasis of the Seas is the third largest cruise ship in the world. (Since it was built, Royal Caribbean has built two lager ships.)  It is impressive and, hopefully, when I have finished this series, you will agree.

The first photo shows people on the deck watching buildings in Fort Lauderdale as we leave port on the first day of our 7-day cruise.  Next, an early morning image of Central Park shows that this section of the ship is actually open to the weather and is flanked by six floors of balconies.  The rest of the photos today were taken in the casino.

Comments are welcome!

Feel free to share with family and friends.
