I haven't been sharing my Photo of the Day for August because I had a total hip replacement and haven't been able to sit at a computer for any length of time for most of the summer. I am recovering from the surgery and can't promise when I will get back to it regularly. I still share photos on my 5 Facebook pages, but haven't had time to answer everyone's comments.
On August 2, I went to Brigus South to photograph the town with buildings built for a movie that is being shot there. It wasn't easy getting in and out of my vehicle and walking around with a cane just before my surgery; however, I enjoyed my time there and managed to take a few pictures. The church and building you see in the last photo are part of the movie set.
