Northern Gannets






Northern Gannets

Cape St. Mary's is an ideal place to photograph northern gannets. Not only can you capture Bird Rock with thousands of gannets, but you can also see hundreds of individual birds in flight. I have been there a few times and enjoy it every time!

Black-capped Chickadees







Black-capped Chickadees

I really like northern cardinals, but have never seen one here in Newfoundland. However, there have been several sightings around the province, and I heard one near my house once! Hopefully, they will show up here soon. :)

Mahone Bay

I have visited Mahone Bay on three occasions (2003, 2005, and 2009) and wandered the downtown section, taking pictures. I have created a new Mahone Bay Album on my Travel Facebook Page. St. Pierre










St. Pierre

I have been to St. Pierre thrice (1981, 1999, and 2023) and enjoyed all the trips. IN 2023, we stayed for 2 nights instead of one, and I had a better chance to walk around the town. I have four St. Pierre Facebook Albums and have provided links below. In case you aren't aware, St. Pierre is a part of France so people in Fortune can be in France in less than 1 hour.
