I am updating my Bell Island Facebook Albums and started with photos from a trip there in 2013. I have been to Bell Island several times over the years. Bell Island is an island in Conception Bay and was home to a large iron ore mine that operated until the mid-1960s. There are still 2 towns on the island and you must take a ferry to get there.
